Convention planned to discuss gold issues for IndiaTuesday, 29th June 2004 (3041 views) India's bullion hub is to discuss the latest jewellery trends at a new two-day seminar on gold.According to Business Line, the 'India Gold Convention 2004' will take place on August 20-21 and will look at India as the emerging world market for the precious metal. The event will see India and worldwide experts discuss their views on supply and demand in the country and globally, as well as offering an exclusive training session on gold and its future. Key issues under discussion will include investments opportunities in gold, price risk management and outlook and jewellery trends. The convention is organised by Foretell Business Solutions, based in Bangalore, and is set to attract the main stakeholders in the bullion business. Futures trading in gold for the country, which began recently, is reportedly picking up volumes.
