Export benefits scheme launched in IndiaTuesday, 18th May 2004 (3024 views) A new gold card scheme has been introduced in India for creditworthy exporters.The Reserve Bank of India has launched the scheme that may also allow freedom from export guarantee and other benefits based on track record and credit worthiness. All exporters will be able to be part of the new plan and requests would be processed by banks in a set time-frame, according to New Kerala. Limits would be set for a period of three years and would provide a positive feature for the gold export business. The scheme was first introduced in the Export-Import Policy for 2003-2004.
